Band of the Day: Living With Lions

Name: Living With Lions

Home: Vancouver, Canada

Genre: Pop-punk

What they say: “Life-affirming. Emotive. Empowering. These are clear and vital watchwords that reveal themselves when confronted by the barrage of impassioned, caustic vocal melodies, breakneck drums, all flanked by gargantuan punk-rock guitar and bass riffs that are stacked in abundance”

What we say: The band’s first full-length since the 2012 departure of frontman Stu Ross is suitably impassioned and defiant, with founding guitarist Chase Brenneman stepping up to take on vocal duties and lead the band flag-first into a plethora of choruses big enough to make Warped Tour veterans weep and A Day To Remember / New Found Glory fans holler like safari park monkeys.

What’s next? The band’s third full-length, Island, was released 21 Sep via Redfield Records
